On a family trip to Oaxaca, Mexico, I obviously ran away from my family at every opportunity to record the sounds of a small Mexican town, including a local bustling market, a bus station, and the airport.
I wish I had recorded the parade for La Virgen de Soledad that came down the main street one night (pictured below), but at the same time, no I don't. I coulda missed it if I spent time worrying about recording. Hearing all the bandas and seeing all the floral arrangements and dancing, it was something to behold. Oaxacans know how to party.
